Segment Information Segment Information Effective December 31, 2020, the Company revised its segment reporting to account for its acquisition of Maverick Boat Group and conform to changes in its internal management reporting based on the Company’s boat manufacturing operations. The Company previously had three reportable segments, Malibu, Cobalt and Pursuit. The Company now aggregates Pursuit and Maverick Boat Group into one reportable segment as they have similar economic characteristics and qualitative factors. As a result, the Company continues to have three reportable segments, Malibu, Cobalt and Saltwater Fishing. The Malibu segment
participates in the manufacturing, distribution, marketing and sale of Malibu and Axis performance sports boats throughout the world. The Cobalt segment participates in the manufacturing, distribution, marketing and sale of Cobalt boats throughout the world. The Saltwater Fishing segment participates in the manufacturing, distribution, marketing and sale throughout the world of Pursuit boats and the Maverick Boat Group brand boats (Maverick, Cobia, Pathfinder and Hewes).
The following tables present financial information for the Company’s reportable segments for the three and six months ended December 31, 2020 and 2019, respectively, and the Company’s financial position at December 31, 2020 and June 30, 2020, respectively:
