Dear Sirs:

In accordance with the provisions of Article 28 of the Consolidated Text of the Securities Market Law and Resolution SMV 005-2014.SMV / 01, we comply with informing as a Material Event that the Board of Directors of our subsidiary Salmueras Sudamericanas S.A. (“SALSUD”) in its session held on June 28, 2018 approved the following:

Arrange the final closure of the brine project that SALSUD was running, a company in which Cementos Pacasmayo S.A.A (“CPSAA”) and Quimpac S.A participate. The closing of said project will not have a material impact on the financial statements of CPSAA for the current fiscal year 2018, since a provision had already been made as of December 31, 2017.
