The Company pays various royalties on the sale of zeolite products. On a combined basis, royalties vary from 8%-13%. During the three and six month periods ended June 30, 2021, the Company had royalty expense of $69,437 and $131,567, respectively. During the three and six month periods ended June 30, 2020, the Company had royalty expense of $61,468 and $125,618, respectively. At June 30, 2021 and December 31, 2020, the Company had accrued royalties payable of $348,734 and $434,981, respectively, which is included in accrued liabilities. The Company is currently in negotiations with certain royalty holders to modify the terms of the agreements.
