(1) Prior to the Spin-Off, certain of our employees participated in a defined benefit pension plan (“Shared Plan”) sponsored by Honeywell which included participants of other Honeywell subsidiaries and operations. Net periodic benefit cost related to participation in the Shared Plan was $1.7 million and $3.4 million for the three and six months ended June 30, 2016, respectively.
