3. INVENTORIES:

Inventories are stated at the lower of cost or market and consist of the following (in thousands):

Long-term inventories are recorded in other assets. The lower of cost or market adjustment for all inventories was $3.5 million and $3.4 million at December 31, 2012 and 2011, respectively.

- Definition
