Income taxes The effective tax rate of the Company was 14.8% and 13.4% for the three and six months ended June 30, 2020 compared to 11.8% and 11.2% for the three and six months ended June 30, 2019. The three and six months ended June 30, 2020 includes before tax investment tax credits of $273 and $546 compared to before tax investment tax credits and other credits of $390 and $778 for the same period last year.
