Inventories consist of the following (in thousands):

Inventories are stated at the lower of cost or net realizable value. We periodically review the value of items in inventory and record any necessary write downs of inventory based on our assessment of market conditions.    No additional inventory reserve was considered necessary as of April 30, 2019 and October 31, 2018.
