Subsequent Events [Text Block]	12.           Subsequent Events Subsequent to the end of the quarter, on July 14, 2011, the Company’s common stock began trading on the NASDAQ Capital Market under the ticker symbol “MITK.”  In connection with the approval to list the Company’s shares of common stock on the NASDAQ Capital Market, the Company will hire a chief financial officer within 90 days of such listing.  Prior to July 14, 2011, the Company’s common stock was quoted on the Over-the-Counter Bulletin Board.
