The Company generated a loss attributable to Community Health Systems, Inc. stockholders for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2024, so the effect of dilutive securities is not considered because their effect would be antidilutive. If the Company generated income during the three and nine months ended September 30, 2024, the effect of restricted stock awards, employee stock options, and other equity-based awards on the diluted shares calculation would have been an increase of 1,883,693 shares and 1,064,103 shares, respectively.
