Subsequent Event	Note 11 Subsequent Event On July 18, 2012, the Company liquidated Diamond Hill Offshore Ltd., and Diamond Hill Investment Partners II, LP, both private investment funds. Substantially all of the assets in these funds were redeemed and paid out to investors during June 2012 and therefore, the effect of the liquidation is already reflected in June 30, 2012 asset under management. In addition, the Company has started the process of dissolving its subsidiary Diamond Hill GP (Cayman) Ltd., which acted as the general partner to the master fund of the above two funds. The dissolution is expected to be substantially completed during the third quarter of 2012.
