Other charges Other chargesIn 2019, the Company decided to commence a project to remove low-level naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM) from a redundant building at Elektron's Manchester, UK site. The work represents remediation of a legacy environmental issue and is expected to complete in the first quarter of 2021. In 2020 and 2019, the Company recognized $0.4 million and $2.5 million respectively, in other charges on the Statements of Income related to this remediation.
