The following selected financial data of various other businesses disposed of prior to 2014, consisting primarily of administrative costs, for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2015 and 2014, is presented for informational purposes only and does not necessarily reflect what the results of operations would have been had the businesses operated as stand-alone entities.  There was no general corporate expense or interest expense allocated to discontinued operations for these businesses during the periods presented.
During the third quarter of 2014, the company settled a pension obligation related to a previously disposed entity which resulted in a $1.1 million loss on sale, net of income tax benefit of $0.6 million, during the period.
