GEOGRAPHIC CONCENTRATION OF CUSTOMERS [Abstract]
GEOGRAPHIC CONCENTRATION OF CUSTOMERS	NOTE 15 – GEOGRAPHIC CONCENTRATION OF CUSTOMERS Artesian Water, Artesian Water Maryland and Artesian Water Pennsylvania provide water utility service to customers within their established service territory in all three counties of Delaware and in portions of Maryland and Pennsylvania, pursuant to rates filed with and approved by the DEPSC, the MDPSC and the PAPUC.  As of June 30, 2022, Artesian Water was serving approximately 94,000 customers, Artesian Water Maryland was serving approximately 2,600 customers and Artesian Water Pennsylvania was serving approximately 40 customers. Artesian Wastewater and TESI provide wastewater utility service to customers within their established service territory in Sussex County, Delaware pursuant to rates filed with and approved by the DEPSC. The number of wastewater customers served more than doubled following the acquisition of TESI in January 2022.  As of June 30, 2022, Artesian Wastewater combined with TESI were serving approximately 7,300 customers, including one large industrial customer.
