Nature of Business	1. NATURE OF BUSINESS Aldeyra Therapeutics, Inc., together with its wholly owned subsidiaries (the “Company” or “Aldeyra”), a Delaware corporation, is a clinical-stage biotechnology company devoted to discovering and developing innovative therapies designed to treat immune-mediated and metabolic diseases. The principal activities of the Company to date include research and development activities along with related general business planning, including raising capital.

The entire disclosure for the nature of an entity's business, major products or services, principal markets including location, and the relative importance of its operations in each business and the basis for the determination, including but not limited to, assets, revenues, or earnings.
