Reconciliation of Mortgage Servicing Assets
For the nine months ended September 30, 2012 and 2011, servicing rights capitalized totaled $250,000 and $343,000, respectively. Servicing rights capitalized for the three-month periods ended September 30, 2012 and 2011, were $169,000 and $80,000 respectively. Servicing rights amortized for the nine-month periods ended September 30, 2012 and 2011, were $487,000 and $399,000, respectively. The fair value of servicing rights was $1,129,000, $1,581,000 and $1,541,000 at September 30, 2012, December 31, 2011 and September 30, 2011, respectively. The Bank serviced loans for others totaling $215,741,000, $238,221,000 and $255,384,000 at September 30, 2012, December 31, 2011, and September 30, 2011, respectively.
