SUBSEQUENT EVENTS	15. SUBSEQUENT EVENTS On November 5, 2021, the Company acquired Majelac Technologies LLC (“Majelac”), a privately-owned company providing semiconductor packaging and integrated circuit assembly services located in Pennsylvania. The Company acquired Majelac for an aggregate purchase price equal to $5,000 in cash plus $132 in reimbursement for certain recently purchased equipment, 595,562 shares of Class A common stock subject to restrictions and up to $800 of earn-out payments. Approximately 10% of cash and shares were held back at closing to satisfy any post-closing indemnity claims by the Company.  Quantum-Si expects the acquisition to secure semiconductor chip assembly and packaging capabilities in-house for the Company in order to secure its supply chain and support scaling commercialization efforts. Prior to the acquisition, Majelac was a vendor of the Company.
