NOTE 2 - RECENT ACCOUNTING GUIDANCE

Recent Accounting Guidance Not Yet Adopted

In March 2020, the Financial Accounting Standards Board (“FASB”) issued Accounting Standards Update (“ASU”) 2020-04, Reference Rate Reform (Topic 848) and subsequent amendments to the initial guidance: ASU 2021-01, which provides temporary optional expedients and exceptions to the current guidance on contract modifications to ease the financial reporting burdens related to the expected market transition from London Interbank Offered Rate (LIBOR) and other interbank offered rates to alternative reference rates. The amendments are effective as of March 12, 2020 and applies to contract modifications made before December 31, 2022. As of March 31, 2022, the Company has not utilized any of the expedients discussed within this ASU, however, it continues to assess its agreements to determine if LIBOR is included and if the expedients would be utilized through the allowed period of December 31, 2022.

In June 2016, the FASB issued ASU 2016-13, Financial Instruments—Credit Losses (Topic 326): Measurement of Credit Losses on Financial Instruments and subsequent amendments to the initial guidance: ASU 2018-19, 2019-04, 2019-05, 2020-03, and 2022-02 (collectively, Topic 326). Topic 326 requires measurement and recognition of expected credit losses for financial assets held. Topic 326 is effective for the Company in the first quarter of fiscal year 2024. The Company is currently evaluating the impact of the standard on its consolidated financial statements and disclosures.
