Damit hat das Unternehmen bereits zum Ende des 3. Quartals 1999 den Vorjahresgesamt- umsatz 1998 um 18,9 % übertroffen. Das Ergebnis vor Steuern liegt bei 6,5 Millionen DM (= 3,3 Millionen Euro). Damit wurde der Vorjahresgesamtgewinn 1998 bereits nach drei Quartalen um 51,6 % übertroffen. Zu der positiven Geschäftsentwicklung haben Gesamtleistung und Gewinn im 3. Quartal 1999 wesentlich beigetragen: Die Gesamtleistung lag bei 44,2 Millionen DM (= 22,6 Millionen Euro) – ein Plus von 143,6 Prozent gegenüber dem 2. Quartal mit 18,2 Millionen DM (= 9,3 Millionen Euro). Als Gewinn pro Aktie errechnen sich 0,66 DM für das 3. Quartal bzw. 1,27 DM (= 0,65 Euro) für die ersten neun Monate 1999. Bedingt durch das Projektgeschäft bei der Erstellung von Windparks ergibt sich erfahrungsgemäß im Jahresverlauf ein überproportionaler Anstieg von Gesamtleistung und Gewinn zum Jahresende. Derzeit wird an über 50 inländischen Windparkprojekten gearbeitet, die sich in der Planung oder bereits in der Umsetzung befinden. In Irland will die Plambeck Neue Energien AG drei Windparks mit insgesamt 27 Windenergieanlagen der Megawattklasse errichten. Zusätzlich wird in Madrid ein Büro eröffnet, um von dort neue Projekte zu entwickeln und zu akquirieren. Der Geschäftsbereich Stromhandel konnte früher als geplant aufgenommen werden. Der Markteintritt fand Ende Oktober in Hamburg statt. Der angebotene Stromtarif der Plambeck Neue Energien AG zeichnet sich durch einen günstigen Preis für die Kilowattstunde aus, beinhaltet eine variable Monatsgrundgebühr und verzichtet auf eine Vertragsmindestlaufzeit, die dem Stromkunden den Wechsel des Stromlieferanten erleichtert. Die Plambeck Neue Energien AG wird ihren starken Wachstumskurs in den Geschäftsbereichen Energieerzeugung und Stromhandel auch zukünftig fortsetzen. Für den Bereich Energieerzeugung werden zusätzliche Impulse aus der deutlichen Verbesserung der Rahmenbedingungen durch die Novellierung des Stromeinspeisungs- gesetzes ( StrEG ) erwartet. Plambeck Neue Energien AG ________________________________________________________________________________ An aggregate operating performance of DM 63.4 million A profit on ordinary activities of DM 6.5 million The profit on ordinary activities was surpassed by 50 % already at the end of the 3rd quarter In the first nine months of 1999, Plambeck Neue Energien AG achieved an aggregate operating performance of DM 63.4 million (= Euro 32.4 million) – thus the company improved the sales revenues of last year by 18.9 % already at the end of the 3rd quarter 1999. The pretax result amounts to DM 6.5 million (= Euro 3.3 million) exceeding thus the profit on ordinary activities of 1998 by 51,6 % already at the end of the 3rd quarter. In particular, the aggregate operating performance and the profit of the 3rd quarter contributed to the positive business development. The aggregate operating performance amounted to DM 44.2 million (= Euro 22.6 million) – which was a plus of 143.6 % compared with the result of DM 18.2 million of the 2nd quarter (= Euro 9.3 million). The net income per share is DM 0.66 for the 3rd quarter or DM 1.27 (= Euro 0.65) respectively for the first nine months of the year 1999. Due to the project business and the set-up of wind parks there is, according to our experiences, an over-proportional increase in the aggregate operating performance and in the profit at the end of the year. Plambeck is currently working on over 50 wind park projects either being planned or already under construction. The company wants to set-up three wind parks with a total of 27 wind power generating systems of the megawatt-class in the Republic of Ireland. In addition, Plambeck will open an office in Madrid to develop and acquire new projects. Earlier than planned Plambeck Neue Energien AG started its new business branch – the power trade. The market introduction took place in Hamburg in October. Plambeck’s offer is characterized by a very favorable tariff per kilowatt-hour with a variable monthly basic service charge by doing without a minimum contract period – this makes changing the power company easier for the customer. With regard to the business branches power production and power trade Plambeck will continue its dynamic growth.
