Plambeck Neue Energien AG: Capital amounting to finance dynamic growth
Cuxhaven, 21st Feb. 2001 – Plambeck Neue Energien AG is continuing its dynamic
development: The construction and financing of more than 150 wind turbine
generators with a total capacity of more than 230 MW are scheduled to start in
2001. The first international wind energy projects are nearing realisation and
the first plant for generation of power and heat from biomass is scheduled to
start in 2001. The use of solar energy shall be progressed. Plans for an
offshore wind farm at sea will be put in a concrete form. Constant growth in
all fields of renewable energies will always be the objective of Plambeck Neue
Energien AG.
In order to put this dynamic growth on a sound basis the Board of Directors and
the Supervisory Board decided to increase the capital. The further development
of the main business activity – the wind energy – and of biomass and solar
energy is the objective of Plambeck Neue Energien AG. After the success during
the last two years further co-operations and participation in the field of
renewable energy will be possible. Therefore, an authorised capital amounting
to 50 % of the share capital is to be formed and a cash increase in the
subscribed capital amounting to 20 % is planned at an extraordinary general
meeting which shall take place on 30th March 2001.
