Concentration on wind parks
By concentrating on its core business of wind park projects in Europe, Plambeck
Neue Energien AG (WKN 69 10 32) has created the prerequisites for realising
their onshore wind park projects in Germany with a total volume now in excess of
Euro 1.7 billion in Germany alone. The biomass division is being hived off into
an independent company in order to be able to secure the growth potential in
this market segment. The addition of Arne Lorenzen to the board means that
Plambeck Neue Energien AG can now consolidate its growing foreign sector with
companies in France and Poland. Sales forecasts (about Euro 200 million) and
profits (about Euro 20 million) for 2001 can now be confirmed.
