The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Plambeck Neue Energien AG: Dividend in the form of gratis shares after results continue to improve Cuxhaven, 24th March 2002 – The management board and supervisory board of the Plambeck Neue Energien AG have proposed paying out a dividend in the form of gratis shares for the 2003 business year. This shane distribution is to take place in the ratio of 20:1. The proposal was made based on the net income of the Plambeck Neue Energien AG of Eur 16,764,528.53 (last year Eur 10,714,540.59) which is to be allocated to reserves to bolster the further development of the Company. Plambeck Neue Energien AG also recorded growth within the group: total operating performance grew to Eur 263.4 million (last year: Eur 205.9 million) and the pre-tax Profits to Eur 22.2 million (last year Eur 20.0 million). Sales rose to Eur 209.5 million (last year: Eur 188.3 million). Operating results total Eur 17.3 million (last year: Eur 17.3 million). The group result already takes into account special factors such as the loss of a bank guaranteed receivable against a plant manufacturer (2.9 million Euros) and finally required amortization of goodwill (4.5 million Euros) as well as additional prepayments for future markets. Total operating performance was achieved through the planning and disposal of windparks as well as revenues from windpark projects currently in the implementation phase and a blomass project Plambeck Neue Energien AG has paid a dividend ever since it was floated on the stock exchange (1988) and will announce further details at an Annual Statement of Accounts Press Conference to be neld on 27th March 2003.
