PNE WIND group: WKN wind farm sold to CEE
German wind farm Looft II to be commissioned in 2015
Husum, December 19, 2014 - At the end of 2014 the Husum-based project
developer WKN AG, a company of PNE WIND group, has sold the wind energy
project Looft II (Schleswig-Holstein) to CEE, an investment company located
in Hamburg. Handover of the project will take place on completion.
The Schleswig-Holstein project Looft II in the district of Steinburg
consists of four wind turbines. Two Vestas V112 each with an installed
capacity of 3.075 megawatts and 94 metres hub height as well as another two
Vestas V90 each with an installed capacity of 2.0 megawatts and a hub
height of 105 metres will be erected. The commissioning of the wind farm is
planned as of the second quarter of 2015; corresponding preparatory
construction measures have already been taken. The wind farm will feed
directly into the 110-kilovolt grid via a transformer station. The expected
annual power production of the 10.15 megawatts farm amounts to
approximately 26 million kilowatt hours. Thus, when put into operation the
wind farm developed by WKN will provide environmentally friendly energy to
about 7,500 households in Schleswig-Holstein.
"Wind farm Looft II is the first transaction with CEE", Dr Jürgen
Dambrowski, CFO of WKN AG reports. "Our majority shareholder PNE WIND has
already cooperated with CEE successfully, thus we are also looking forward
to our future cooperation. "
