The amortized cost of the available-for-sale debt securities, which is adjusted for amortization of premiums and accretion of discounts to maturity, was $88,430,000 as of September 30, 2020. There were no significant realized gains or losses recognized on the sale or maturity of available-for-sale debt securities during the nine months ended September 30, 2020 or 2019.
