Other Assets	Other Assets Investments in Mutual Water Companies The Company’s investments in various not-for-profit mutual water companies provide it with the right to receive a proportionate share of water from each of the not-for-profit mutual water companies that have been invested in and do not constitute voting shares and/or rights. In January 2023, the Company sold an investment in a mutual water company with a net book value of $1,320,000 as part of the Northern Properties sale described in Note 3 - Asset Sales and Disposals. In January 2025, the Company sold water pumping rights in the Santa Paula Basin for $300,000 and the Company recorded a gain on sale of water rights of $288,000. In August 2025, the Company acquired investments in mutual water companies of $592,000 as discussed in Note 7 - Equity in Investments. Investments in mutual water companies included in other assets in the Company’s consolidated balance sheets as of October 31, 2025 and 2024 were $7,323,000 and $6,229,000, respectively.
