Wulff specifies its outlook for the operating result of 2020. On July 21, 2020,
the company announced in a stock exchange release its estimate that the
comparable operating profit of 2020 will grow from 2019. The comparable
operating profit in 2019 was EUR 1.7 million. Now the company updates its
outlook and estimates that the comparable operating profit of 2020 will clearly
grow from 2019.
The coronavirus pandemic and the changes it has brought have affected businesses
and people. Wulff has succeeded in responding to the change by rapidly
developing its own operations and product and service portfolio. Sales of
current hygiene, cleaning and protection products have grown strongly. The
exceptional circumstances have both created additional sales opportunities for
Wulff and increased business risks. Although the corona situation is better or
moderate than expected in Wulff's operating countries and prospects have
improved towards the end of the year compared to the beginning of the year, the
development of the pandemic and its impact on the macroeconomy and markets
remains difficult to predict. This impairs the accurate predictability of the
operating result.
