AllianceBernstein L.P.          

On 18 June Carlsberg received information that AllianceBernstein L.P. has       
reduced their holding of Carlsberg A/S to 7,542,959 shares corresponding to a   
combined holding of 4.94% of the capital and 1.65% of the votes in Carlsberg    
A/S.
