The Carlsberg Group has, through its fully owned subsidiary Carlsberg Brewery
Hong Kong Limited, notified Chongqing Brewery Co., Ltd that a potential
transaction relating to an increase of its ownership of the company is under
consideration. Trading in the shares of Chongqing Brewery Co., Ltd has
subsequently been suspended to avoid abnormal share price fluctuations. Until
the trading suspension expires, the companies are not able to provide further
details.
