Inventory consists of the following (in thousands):

Total inventory		$	24,172			$	39,032

As of September 30, 2019, total inventory included $1.2 million related to SUSTOL and $23.0 million related to CINVANTI. As of December 31, 2018, total inventory included $6.7 million related to SUSTOL and $32.3 million related to CINVANTI. In addition, cost of product sales for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2019 included charges of $1.7 million and $3.3 million, respectively, resulting from the write-off of short-dated SUSTOL inventory.
