Employee Benefit Plan	NOTE 12 – EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLAN The Company sponsors a defined-contribution savings plan under Section 401(k) of the Internal Revenue Code covering all full-time employees (Sangamo 401(k) Plan). The Sangamo 401(k) Plan is intended to qualify under Section 401 of the Internal Revenue Code. The Company matched employee contributions equal to 50% for the first 8% in 2017 and 6% in both 2016 and 2015, respectively, up to a limit of $4,000 in 2017 and $3,000 in both 2016 and 2015, respectively. Matching funds are fully vested when contributed. Contributions to the Sangamo 401(k) Plan by the Company were $0.5 million, $0.3 million, and $0.3 million for the years ended December 31, 2017, 2016 and 2015, respectively.
