EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLAN EMPLOYEE BENEFIT PLAN
The Company sponsors a defined-contribution savings plan under Section 401(k) of the Internal Revenue Code covering all full-time employees (“Sangamo 401(k) Plan”). The Sangamo 401(k) Plan is intended to qualify under Section 401 of the Internal Revenue Code.
The Company matched employee contributions equal to 100% in 2024 and 2023, up to a limit of $5,000. Matching funds are fully vested when contributed. Contributions to the Sangamo 401(k) Plan by the Company were $1.2 million and $1.8 million for the years ended December 31, 2024 and 2023, respectively.
