5.    PROPERTY AND EQUIPMENT

Property and equipment are comprised of the following:

The Company periodically writes off fully depreciated and amortized assets.  The Company wrote off fully depreciated and amortized assets of $1,604 and $1,201 during the fiscal years ended December 28, 2024 and December 30, 2023, respectively. For the fiscal years ended December 28, 2024 and December 30, 2023, depreciation and amortization expense for property and equipment was $1,419 and $1,032, respectively.
