Other Events.</strong></font></p><p><font style="font-size: 10pt;"><p>On September 19, 2019, FreightCar America, Inc. (the &#8220;Company&#8221;) issued a press release announcing that it entered into a joint venture arrangement with Fabricaciones y Servicios de M&#233;xico, S.A. de C. V. a Mexican company (&#8220;Fasemex&#8221;), pursuant to which the Company and Fasemex each will be entitled to 50% of the profits and losses of a newly formed joint venture. Under the terms of the joint venture, the Company will have the right to appoint the majority of the members of the board and management for the joint venture entities and the joint venture will lease a manufacturing facility in Castanos, Mexico in which it will manufacture railcars. Production of railcars at the facility is expected to begin in mid 2020. (NASDAQ: RAIL) (&#8220;FreightCar&#8221; or the &#8220;Company&#8221;) announced&#160;today&#160;the formation of a&#160;joint venture with Fabricaciones y Servicios de M&#233;xico, S.A. de C.V. (&#8220;Fasemex&#8221;), a Mexican company with operations in both Mexico and the United States, to manufacture railcars in Casta&#241;os, Mexico.<br ></p>  <p align="justify">When operational, FreightCar will have substantially repositioned its manufacturing footprint to include its state-of-the-art Muscle Shoals factory and the new factory in Casta&#241;os.
