[1] Primarily consists of deferred compensation plan accounts, which are comprised of mutual funds classified as available-for-sale securities.
[2] Cash equivalents and restricted cash equivalents consist of money market funds, deposits, and investments with original maturities of three months or less.
[3] The estimated fair value of the contingent consideration associated with the acquisition of SIMOS, which was estimated using a probability-adjusted discounted cash flow model. Refer to Note 2: Acquisitions for further details regarding the SIMOS acquisition.
[4] Other restricted assets primarily consist of deferred compensation plan accounts, which are comprised of mutual funds classified as available-for-sale securities.
[5] The preliminary valuation of customer relationships was increased by $0.6 million and contingent consideration decreased by $1.0 million as a result of our final valuation. The preliminary purchase price allocation for restricted cash was increased by $3.0 million for confirmation of cash held by third-party administrators for payment of workers' compensation claims.
