PWO is awarded preferred supplier status once again by the Bosch Group

Oberkirch, July 1, 2015 – Progress-Werk Oberkirch AG has been awarded the coveted Preferred Supplier status for the second time in just a short period by its customer Bosch. This award recognizes PWO’s long-standing position as a top supplier of the globally operating company. Under the Preferred Supplier concept, Robert Bosch GmbH evaluates the performance of its suppliers on a continuous basis using predetermined criteria for the respective material segments. PWO was awarded for its outstanding achievement in the categories of stamped, deep-drawn, and curved components.

Both companies share a partnership that spans decades. PWO delivers highly complex metal components such as deep-drawn electric motor housings – a segment in which PWO is the global leader and possesses the fastest production process in the world. Annually, PWO produces over 120 million units of these components used for automotive applications.
