Pursuant to section 29 of the Danish Securities Trading Act, Royal Unibrew A/S
hereby announce that it has received information that Hartwall Capital Oy Ab
through its 100% owned subsidiary, HC Royal Holding Oy Ab, has reduced its
holding of shares in Royal Unibrew A/S. 

Hartwall Capital Oy Ab now holds 3,926,440 shares with a nominal value of DKK 2
equivalent to 7.1% of Royal Unibrew A/S’ share capital and votes.
