Note 17 — Employee Benefit Plans

The Company has a Section 401(k) Savings Plan which covers employees who meet certain age and length of service requirements. Effective July 1, 2018, the Company’s Plan was amended to include a 100% match by the Company on all eligible employee salary deferrals. The Company’s matching contribution is limited to 3% of covered employee’s annual salary. Total 401(k) matching expense for the years ended December 31, 2022, 2021 and 2020 totaled $262,726, $280,660 and $148,131, respectively.
