Commitments

We conduct our product research and development programs through a combination of internal and collaborative programs that include, among others, arrangements with universities, contract research organizations and clinical research sites. We have contractual arrangements with these organizations that are cancelable. Our obligations under these contracts are largely based on services performed.

We currently lease approximately 6,000 square feet of office space pursuant to a non-cancelable operating lease in Austin, TX that expires in 2014. Our lease in San Mateo, CA expired in July 2012. Future minimum lease payments are as follows for the years ended December 31, (in thousands):

In December 2011, we entered into a sublease for our facility in San Mateo. This sublease expired at the same time as our lease in San Mateo.
