Most successful Year of Amadeus AG
Final figures for fiscal year 2000/2001 of Amadeus AG – Dividend proposal Euro
0.33 per share
Frankfurt/Main, 19th of June 2001. The consolidated financial statements of
Amadeus AG Human Resource Services and Solution Provider confirm the successful
strategy of the group to position as a solution provider with a complete value
chain solely in the area of high qualified human resource services for
commercial specialists and executives.
In fiscal year 2000/2001 total sales of Amadeus Group increased by 42.6 % from
Euro 34.3 million to Euro 48.9 million. Achieving an organic growth of 32.0 %,
generated by the services temporary staffing, interim management and permanent
placement, Amadeus exceeds the average growth rate of the staffing industry of
approximately 15 % by far.
The EBITA rose up to Euro 6.4 million, an increase of 28.8 % compared to prior
year. This corresponds to an EBITA margin of 13.1 %. Thus Amadeus Group achieved
an operational result clearly above sector’s average.
The net income after minorities amounts to Euro 3.3 million (prior year Euro 2.7
million), an increase of 21.9 %. The earnings per share (according to IAS
undiluted) amount to Euro 0.64 (prior year Euro 0.52).
Management and Supervisory Board of Amadeus AG will propose to distribute a
dividend of Euro 0.33 on the 5,211,731 dividend bearing shares at the
shareholders’ general meeting on 8th August 2001.
