FiRe AG a 100% subsidiary of Amadeus AG and market leader in human resource services in the area of finance and accounting sells its 51% participation of Amadeus IT Consulting GmbH. The sale of the participation will not have a negative impact on the expected result of the Group, an EBITA of approx. Euro 9 million for fiscal year 2001/2002. By selling the IT activities Amadeus reacts on the consolidation taking place in the market for SAP consulting services. Amadeus Group will concentrate on the expansion of the existing services, especially the increase of its market leadership in finance and accounting and the extension of international activities.
