Amadeus AG increases Dividend by 27 per cent
Final figures for fiscal year 2001/2002 –
Dividend proposal Euro 0,42 per share
Frankfurt/Main, 18th of June 2002. The Amadeus AG Human Resource Services and
Solution Provider achieves an excellent result and a sustained growth in a very
weak market environment for the staffing industry.
In fiscal year 2001/2002 Amadeus Group’s sales revenues increased by
41,0 per cent to Euro 68,9m (prior year Euro 48,9m). The core business grew by
21 per cent in comparison to a market decline of some 5 per cent for the German
staffing industry.
The operating result before goodwill amortization (EBITA) improved by
37,0 per cent to Euro 8,8m. This corresponds to an EBITA-margin of
12,7 per cent. Therewith the Amadeus Group outperforms the industries’ average
results clearly.
The net income after minority interests for the fiscal year amounts to
Euro 4,3m (prior year Euro 3,3m), an increase of 46,7 per cent. The earnings
per share (undiluted according to IAS) are Euro 0,83 (prior year Euro 0,57 –
after restatement according to IAS 8.49 in conjunction with IAS 12).
Management and Supervisory Board of Amadeus AG will propose to distribute a
dividend of Euro 0,42 per share at the shareholders’ general meeting on 7th of
August 2002.
