Amadeus FiRe AG / Quarter Results

Frankfurt/Main, 17 April 2008. After three months of fiscal year 2008
Amadeus FiRe Group achieved consolidated revenues of EUR k 24.449 (prior
year EUR k 20.752), an increase of 17,8 per cent. The number of
chargeable days in the first quarter 2008 was two days less compared to
prior year’s period, although Quarter 1 record sales were achieved.
The biggest business line Temporary Staffing grew significantly by 22 per
cent. Permanent Placement/Recruitment revenues increased strongly by 35
per cent. Revenues in Interim-/Project-Management declined by 2 per cent
and were almost on prior year’s level.
Training and Education services grew by 3 per cent.
In the first quarter the Group achieved a gross profit of EUR k 9.798
after EUR k 8.351 in prior year’s quarter. The gross profit margin was at
40,1 per cent slightly lower than prior year’s 40,2 per cent.
Selling and administration expenses increased by 25,6 per cent to EUR k
6.876 compared to prior year’s EUR k 5.476.
The operating profit totals, despite the lesser chargeable days, EUR k
2.912 as in prior year. Therefore the EBITA margin was 11,9 per cent
compared to 14,0 per cent in prior year’s period.
