PSI AG gründet PSIPENTA Automotive GmbH:
Akquisition der SOFTSYSTEMS GmbH
Berlin, Bochum, 14. Juni 2000 – Die PSI AG, Berlin, hat heute die Gründung der
PSIPENTA Automotive GmbH angekündigt. In diesem Zusammenhang übernimmt das
Berliner Softwarehaus den langjährigen Kooperationspartner und
Automotive-Spezialisten SOFTSYSTEMS Scheufele & Happe GmbH, Bochum zu 100%. Mit
der PSIPENTA Automotive GmbH mit Sitz in Gelsenkirchen etabliert die PSI AG ein
Automotive Competence Center und unterstreicht die strategische Ausrichtung als
Anbieter auch von Business-Lösungen für die Automobilzuliefer-Industrie. PSI
und die Tochter PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH stellen bereits seit 1987 die
Kompetenz als Lösungsanbieter im Automotive-Umfeld in Deutschland und
international bei einer Vielzahl von Unternehmen unter Beweis. Die PSIPENTA
Automotive GmbH betreut künftig direkt die Kunden beider Partner. Hierzu zählen
unter anderem die Weidmann AG (Schweiz), August Läpple GmbH & Co KG,
GKN Gelenkwellenbau GmbH, Pilkington Flachglas AG (Pilkington Automotive
Deutschland GmbH), Dunlop (Dunlopillo Automotive GmbH), Behr
(Behr Thermottronic GmbH & Co) oder auch SKF (CR Elastomere GmbH).
Mit der PSIPENTA Automotive GmbH fokussiert der Berliner Anbieter ür
Business-Lösungen für den Maschinen-, Anlagen- und Apparatebau jetzt noch
stärker als bisher auch auf den Zielmarkt Automotive. Hierfür errichtet die
PSI mit dem neuen Unternehmen ein “Automotive Competence Center” im Ruhrgebiet,
einem der größten industriellen Ballungsgebiete und einem der wichtigsten
Standorte der Automobil-Zulieferindustrie in Deutschland. Die PSIPENTA
Automotive GmbH bündelt die Erfahrungen der PSI-Tochter PSIPENTA Software
Systems GmbH und der SOFTSYSTEMS GmbH, um “Best-Practice”-Lösungen für den
Bereich Automotive unter dem Namen PSIPENTA Komp@kt Automotive anzubieten.
Gerade der Sektor der Automobilzulieferindustrie fordert zunehmend die
Abbildung von branchenspezifischen Anforderungen in Softwarelösungen.

PSI AG Founds PSIPENTA Automotive GmbH:
Acquisition of SOFTSYSTEMS GmbH
Berlin, Bochum, 14 June 2000 – PSI AG, Berlin, today announced the founding of
PSIPENTA Automotive GmbH. In this context the Berlin-based software company is
taking over 100% of their cooperation partner and automotive specialist
SOFTSYSTEMS Scheufele & Happe GmbH, Bochum. With PSIPENTA Automotive GmbH,
headquartered in Gelsenkirchen, PSI AG is establishing an Automotive
Competence Center and emphasises the strategic orientation as a provider of
business solutions for the automotive industry. PSI and the subsidiary
PSIPENTA Software Systems GmbH have been demonstrating their competence as a
solution provider in the automotive sector in Germany, and internationally,
for a number of companies since 1987. PSIPENTA Automotive GmbH will support
the customers of both partners in the future. Amongst these customers are
Weidmann AG (Switzerland), August Läpple GmbH & Co KG, GKN Gelenkwellenbau
GmbH, Pilkington Flachglas AG (Pilkington Automotive Deutschland GmbH), Dunlop
(Dunlopillo Automotive GmbH), Behr (Behr Thermottronic GmbH & Co) and SKF

With PSIPENTA Automotive GmbH the Berlin-based business solution provider for
machine, plant and equipment construction is focusing even more strongly than
