The PSIPENTA turnaround was achieved by means of the successful focusing on the three vertical markets mechanical engineering, equipment construction and automotive and the integration of the offerings of all industrial business units of PSI to an integrated production management solution. This led to a significant increase in new orders, particularly following the sales release of the new version 7 of the software product PSIpenta on 20 August of the current year. The new product version PSIpenta 7, with the expanded functionality in multi- site, workflow and internationality, precisely meets the needs of the manufacturing industry as it globalizes and relocates sites. PSIpenta can be integrated in existing SAP environments as functionally superior product for manufacturing units of major companies. With the new organizational structure and the close involvement in the corporate combination of the PSI Production Management business industrial customers are handled branch-specifically and holistically. The PSI Executive Board expects the positive trends at PSIPENTA to continue and additional business by the PSIpenta derivatives PSIprofessional for project service providers, PSImaintenance for maintenance, PSItraffic for intermodal work and route logistics as well as the integrated MES software.
