The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– PSI Receives First Order for Manufacturing Control System PSImcontrol Integrated production management system for European profile manufacturer PSI AG has received its first order for the new manufacturing control system PSImcontrol from a leading European producer of steel special profiles. The object of the order is a complete production management system which, along with PSImcontrol for two sites, also includes the areas of order processing, production planning and control, fine planning, maintenance and logistics. For the PSIPENTA corporate unit, this is the largest order since the founding of the business unit. With this project PSI reinforces their position as the leading provider of integrated solutions for distributed industrial value added processes. With the new real-time manufacturing control technology a new quality for monitoring and controlling complex production processes is initiated. PSImcontrol has grown out of the combination of leading PSI control technology in the energy sector and industrial know how. The first PSImcontrol order represents the entrance into the new market segment production control systems and simultaneously confirms the new group strategy which has also been reinforced by increasing new orders in recent months. PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, chemicals, machinery, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers.
