The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— PSI Pushes Export Strategy in the Field of Energy Complete takeover of the export business VA TECH CNI The PSI AG, Germany’s leading provider of energy control systems, will completely take over VA TECH CNI ( http://www.vatech-cni.com ), which was founded in 2002 as a joint venture with the Austrian VA TECH Group for the purpose of global sales. Following the takeover of the VA TECH Group by Siemens, PSI is increasing its holdings in VA TECH CNI from 40 % to 100 % and will be running the company under the name PSI CNI. PSI CNI GmbH will continue to operate internationally and, in addition, represent the PSI gas and oil business in the growth regions China, India and Southeast Asia. The cooperation agreement between PSI and VA TECH will be annuled in the course of the takeover. VA TECH CNI customers, who use VA TECH solutions will be serviced directly by VA TECH in the future. Users of the control system PSIcontrol will be serviced by PSI. After three years of successful export activities within the framework of the joint venture, PSI has attained excellent references around the world; amongst these are the electrical supply of the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, the electrical supply for the Swedish railway and several control systems in Slovenia. On this basis, PSI has good prospects for expanding international activities in the field of energy. PSI continued the export strategy also in the Production Management business with new orders from Russia, Austria, Romania, China and Switzerland in the third quarter. PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, chemicals, machinery, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers.
