The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— PSI Increases Revenues in 2005 and Attains Profit New year begins with numerous new orders The PSI Group increased revenue in financial year 2005 to 116.5 million euros (2004: 115.2 million euros). The operating profit improved to 0.2 million euros after a significant loss in the previous year (2004: -9.1 million euros). The group profit also increased significantly to 20 TEUR (2004: -12.3 million euros). Above all the well-positioned units electrical energy, energy trade, steel industry and logistics made contributions. The one-off effects of repositioning information management and the development of business in the field of telecommunications had a negative effect. With 2.8 million euros, the cash flow from operating activities was again positive. With 115 million euros the order book was below the level of the previous year (2004: 126 million euros); this was primarily due to the decrease in new orders from authorities, which can be attributed to the early elections of the Bundestag. The level of orders at the end of the year changed slightly to 70 million euros (2004: 73 million euros). Following the strong increase in the new orders in the oil and gas business in the fourth quarter, PSI showed an increased number of new orders in all segments at the beginning of the year, with a special emphasis in the areas of energy and the steel industry. The management therefore expects an increase in Group revenues, improvements in the margins and additional progress in the export strategy for 2006. The liquidity on 31 December 2006 was 24.7 million euros.
