The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. —————————————————————————— PSI Places IT Consulting Activities in New Subsidiary Separation of consulting and product activities in Information Management Effective 1 October 2006, the PSI Group is placing its e-Government and IT consulting activities in the newly-founded, wholly-owned subsidiary EITC European IT Consultancy GmbH (EITC). By separating the consulting activities of EITC from the product-oriented activities of Information Management, which will remain in the PSI Information Management GmbH, an optimal organizational environment will be created for the expansion of each specific orientation. The PSI Information Management GmbH will continue to concentrate on the expansion of control system activities for security, environment and disaster protection in the Information Management segment. The newly developed environmental control center, based on the PSI energy control technology which recently proved its strength during the flooding of the river Elbe. Operation control systems from PSI have been successfully employed for years in emergency management of major energy suppliers. With the continuing positive upward order trend in the PSI Group, EITC is starting out under very good conditions. After a number of weak quarters, Information Management is currently working at a high capacity load. As a consequence, the result of this segment will improve significantly. PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its own software, for the management of large networks (electricity, gas, oil, telecommunications, transport), cross-company production management (steel, machinery, plant construction, automotive, logistics) and information management for government and service providers.
