PSI Awarded First Contract by French EDF
PSIcontrol System for die Management of Paris’s Medium Voltage Network
PSI has been awarded its first contract by the French energy supplier EDF
for the delivery of a network control system. In the future, Paris’s medium
voltage network will be monitored and controlled on the basis of the
PSIcontrol system. The special technical requirements of the Paris medium
voltage network that will be covered best by the PSI solution were decisive
for EDF’s choice.
As a result of the existing ring network topology of the Paris network,
which is technologically difficult to display, EDF was looking for a
control system which would provide the greatest range of flexibility for
these specifications. PSIcontrol meets these requirements as well as the
many other complex tasks of the daily operational control.
