PSI Receives Important Order from Asia Aluminum
Production management for new aluminium rolling mill in China
PSI has been charged by Asia Aluminium with the delivery of the production
management system PSImetals for the casting house and the new rolling mill
in the Asia Aluminum Industrial City in Zhaoqing, China. With the order
from the Asia Aluminum Group, PSI has succeeded in entering into the
fast-growing Chinese aluminium industry. The entire duration of the project
is planned for a period of 15 months.
Asia Aluminum is Asia’s largest aluminium processing company and will rank
among the top three fabricators in the world. The Chinese market for
aluminium products is characterized by both strong growth in volume as well
as increasing demands on quality. In view of this, an increasing demand for
intelligent solutions for the optimisation of production control is also
expected in aluminium processing. PSI has been successfully working in the
Chinese market since 2005 with a subsidiary and orders for the largest
steel producers.
PSI AG develops and integrates complete solutions, on the basis of its own
software, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, heat,
oil, water), cross-company production management (steel, mechanical
engineering, automotive, logistics) and infrastructure management for
