PSI Increases Activities in Russia – Number of New Orders Doubles
Increase of new orders of more than 100% expected again in 2008
In 2007 PSI increased their new orders from Russia by more than 120% to 9
million euros (2006: 4 million euros). Along with follow-up orders from the
Gazprom Group and in the logistics sector, with two orders in the steel
industry PSI has also managed to enter the market in this growth sector in
Russia. For 2008 in Russia PSI is planning to enter with control systems
for electrical energy and again expects to double the volume of new orders.
PSI has had its own representative office in Moscow since the end of 2006.
The number of Russian employees was increased to eight in the course of
this year, for 2008 a continued expansion to 20 employees is planned. PSI
is already working successfully with important Russian sales and service
partners NLC, Optima SDC, Novintech, IKT and with the leading Russian IT
service provider IBS.
On the basis of the continuing strong development of business in Germany
and export markets, the PSI management also continues to expect an EBIT in
2007 of over 3.5 million euros and for 2008 an increase to more than 5
million euros.
PSI AG develops and integrates individual solutions, on the basis of its
own software, for the management of energy networks (electricity, gas, oil,
water, heat), cross-company production management (steel, automotive,
mechanical engineering, logistics) and infrastructure management for
telecommunications, transport and safety. PSI was founded in 1969 and
